The Surgical Technology program will prepare students for careers as surgical technicians, which are in high demand by area hospitals and surgical centers. The average salary for a surgical technician is up to $35/hour. After completing one year of study, students can take the Tech in Surgery TS-C (NCCT) certification exam. Please note that TS-C does not meet licensing or regulatory requirements for Surgical Technologists in some states. Please check with your local hospital system of your residence to confirm participation with this certifying body.
