CLEP®

The College-Level Examination Program® (CLEP®) helps students earn college credit and save time and money toward their degree. Taking CLEP exams let you test out of introductory courses and move to more advanced courses sooner. Richmond Community College is now a test center for CLEP examinations.

How to Earn Credit with CLEP

  1. Find out the college's CLEP credit policy.
  2. Decide which exam(s) to take.
  3. Register.
  4. Contact the RichmondCC Testing Center. Call (910) 410-1700 for an appointment at the Hamlet Campus. 
  5. Practice for exams.
