The Paramedic certification course provides you with the knowledge, skills and attributes to provide advanced emergency medical care for critical and emergent patients, and prepares you to enter the workforce as a certified paramedic. This program meets the NCOEMS and National EMS Education Standards and AHA guidelines.
Class Dates: Sept. 6 - March 6
Class will meet at the Hamlet Campus in the Lee Building on Tuesday or Wednesday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.
*Some weekend dates are required.
NC Office of EMS requires all applicants to have:
- Successful completion of college-level English (ENG 111 at minimum), or within the previous 12 months complete a written assessment placing the individual into college-level English.
- Successful completion of college-level Math (MAT 110 at minimum), or within the previous 12 months complete a written assessment placing the individual into college-level Math.
Limited Time Pricing with New Skills, New Life Scholarship: $250 (Total value of class is $684.)
