Construction Trades

In this course, you will gain knowledge and skills about plumbing, electricity, and residential and commercial heating, ventilation, air conditioning and refrigeration (HVAC). Two students work on a bathroom sinkYou will also learn about general repair, safety protocols and building codes, as well as proper use of the tools and equipment that electricians, plumbers and carpenters use. You will study construction scheduling and planning, design, leadership skills, problem-solving and ethics. Upon completing this course, you will be qualified to pursue a variety of careers such as an electrician, plumber, HVAC technician, carpenter, foreman, project manager and construction site manager.
