Construction Boot Camp

Construction crew goes over a construction drawing.The Construction Boot Camp at Richmond Community College provides an immersive introduction to the construction industry, with new classes offered multiple times throughout the year. This program is designed to equip you with essential construction skills and real-world knowledge, providing a clear path to jumpstart your career or take your current skills to the next level. Thanks to a sponsorship from the Carolinas Associated General Contractors (CAGC) Foundation, the $300 course cost is fully covered, making this training available at no cost to students.

Course Dates

June 15 - Aug. 6 | Monday through Thursday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. | Forte Building, rm. 329, Hamlet Campus | Tuition for this class is $180; fees are $120.

Completion Scholarship

Not only is this training offered to students at no cost, students who complete the bootcamp in good standing may be eligible for a $750 Completion Scholarship.
