Welding

Female welder works on a piece of metalWe can prepare you for a welding career in just two semesters. Students can start in Welding I or Welding II. Upon successful completion of each course, students will be able to obtain certifications from the American Welding Society (AWS). Every AWS certification that a welder earns increases the number of skills needed to perform a wide range of welding jobs. Students must bring their own welding helmet, gloves, clear safety glasses and long sleeves to class.

In addition, we offer basic welding classes to teach you foundational welding skills to make minor repairs.

Stick Plate Welding and Cutting

Upon completion of this welding class, students will be able to stick welds in all positions on plate material and use oxy-fuel and plasma to cut and bevel metals.

Basic Welding

Gain skills to perform simple stick welds and make minor repairs. Students must bring their own welding helmet, gloves and long sleeves to class.
