The mission of the US Air Force Heritage of America Band is to synergize public affairs capability through music to support U.S. Air Force, Air Combat Command and Department of Defense objectives. For over seventy-five years, the band has represented the Air Force with musical and military distinction. Members bring music to the mid-Atlantic in live concerts and to the nation in televised events. In partnership with Air Force Recruiting Service, the band performs for events that generate interest and enthusiasm for military service; inspiring individuals to find their path into the United States Air Force! They inspire audiences by displaying the highest level of professionalism, epitomizing military precision and excellence, telling the Air Force story and presenting the finest in musical culture and entertainment. The band serves as a dynamic element to recruit our nation's best and brightest to serve in the United States Air Force.
Heritage Brass is a 14-member pioneering symphonic brass ensemble with percussion and vocals. Bringing the military tradition of brass and percussion to the concert stage, Heritage Brass presents programs that are both exhilarating and intimate.
Representing Air Force professionals serving across the globe, Heritage Brass showcases the service’s excellence and precision in every performance throughout the eastern seaboard, from South Carolina to Maine. The ensemble maintains a rigorous performance schedule, presenting a diverse repertoire featuring orchestral transcriptions, patriotic favorites, jazz standards, and new compositions. Whether performing at a concert hall, educational venue, a large sporting event, or in support of a military function, their innovative approach allows them to perform both as a large symphonic group and a small chamber ensemble.
As professional Airmen, the musicians of Heritage Brass are committed to inspiring patriotism, communicating Air Force priorities, recruiting the best to serve our country, and honoring our nation’s veterans through the power of music. They are proud to represent our nation’s Airmen who fly, fight, and win in air, space, and cyberspace.

The Cole Auditorium has been the home to nationally-recognized touring performances representing a diverse range of genres since the facility opened in 1999. The Cole has provided local access to such headliners as Kenny Rogers, The Beach Boys, The Oak Ridge Boys, Phil Vassar, & Martina McBride and Broadway tours of "Annie," "Showboat," "CATS," and a performance of "Hello, Dolly," that opened the facility on Oct. 29, 1999.
