Act One of "Smokey & Me" celebrates Smokey’s story and many of his biggest hits…. songs he sang and songs he wrote, including “Shop Around”, “Tears of A Clown”, “My Girl”, “I Second that Emotion”, and so many more.
Act Two explores the life on stage of the actor who was fortunate enough to become Smokey every night in "Motown: The Musical"….taking you on a journey through Charl’s compelling musical history from Broadway musicals, pop music, jazz, and rounding out the evening back where we began with a medley of Smokey’s iconic songs.

Tickets for the 2026-2027 Performing Arts Series are on sale now. Show tickets will be sold as a full season or individually. Purchasers will be assigned a seat location when tickets are purchased.
Individual show tickets are easily transferred/can be given as gifts.
Ticket prices vary per seating section. Season tickets range are available for $120, $145, $160. All prices include sales taxes. Online sales surcharges not included.
Groups of 10 or more save 20% on individual show tickets.
Tickets will be sent out during the following times:
- Printed tickets will mailed out roughly 2 weeks before the performance date or can be picked up on demand at the box office during normal business hours.
- Digital tickets will be emailed less than 1 week before the performance date.

- Receive priority upgrades for season ticket location (season ticket purchase cost seperate from Director's Circle cost).

The Cole Auditorium has been the home to nationally-recognized touring performances representing a diverse range of genres since the facility opened in 1999. The Cole has provided local access to such headliners as Kenny Rogers, The Beach Boys, The Oak Ridge Boys, Phil Vassar, & Martina McBride and Broadway tours of "Annie," "Showboat," "CATS," and a performance of "Hello, Dolly," that opened the facility on Oct. 29, 1999.
