Program Description
Software/Web Developer:
The Software and Web Developer degree prepares students for employment as computer programmers, mobile application developers, web developers, and related positions. This is accomplished through study and applications in computer concepts, logic, programming procedures, languages, data management, business operations, as well as Internet applications, website development and web design.
Graduates should qualify for employment in business, industry, and government organizations as programmers, programmer/analysts, computer operators, systems technicians, webmasters, web developers, or database specialists. Graduates will be able to support the web development and programming needs of businesses and organizations in a wide variety of industries or work as freelance web developers.
Mobile Apps Developer:
The Mobile Apps Developer curriculum prepares students to design and develop mobile applications for Android and iOS mobile devices. Graduates will be able to support the mobile application development needs of businesses and organizations in a wide variety of industries, including healthcare, manufacturing, insurance, finance, software publishing, and others. Potential occupations include programmer, software developer, mobile applications developer, programmer/analyst, and web developer.
