Richmond Community College students can earn a degree in Respiratory Therapy from Fayetteville Technical Community College after completing two semesters of study at RichmondCC and transferring to FTCC.
FTCC's Respiratory Therapy program prepares individuals to perform the duties of a licensed Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT). RRTs are a vital member of the healthcare team whose primary focus is maintaining and/or improving a patient’s respiratory effort. Respiratory therapists are found in all
areas of the hospital, including emergency departments, intensive care units and general care floors. They work with all age groups.
