At RichmondCC, our goal is to offer educational programs and assistance that ultimately impact our community for the better, allowing for more jobs, more employed citizens, and overall better lives for the people around us. A part of this mission relies on students having the means to take advantage of our educational offerings, which often necessitates financial aid or scholarships. Take a look at what we offer for financial assistance at RichmondCC,and if you have questions, please contact one of our staff members listed below, or come by the Financial Aid Office in the Student Services Office in the Lee Building if you have questions or concerns.

Applying for FAFSA
To apply for federal aid as a North Carolina student, you must complete a FAFSA. Start by applying for an FSA ID and password online at www.fsaid.ed.gov. Dependent students and their parents each need an FSA ID and password. This information is used to electronically sign the FAFSA application. Keep the information on file because you use it each year to file your FAFSA. Students must complete a new FAFSA each academic year. FAFSA completion is required for RichmondCC scholarships.
If you have trouble with the application, you can call 1-800-4-FEDAID (800-433-3243) or read through the helpful links below. RichmondCC's federal school code is 005464.
