Hadinger Majoring in Exercise Science at Wingate

Hudson Hadinger of Hamlet is in the Exercise Science Pre-Physical Therapy program at Wingate University. He transferred to Wingate after completing an Associate in Science degree from Richmond Community College.

Hudson is a recipient of the Gateway to Wingate Scholarship, which allows him to earn his bachelor's degree for $2,500 or less per year.

“I learned about the Gateway Scholarship during a tour of Wingate,” Hudson said. “This scholarship has helped alleviate the cost of college immensely.”

Hudson said the transfer process from RichmondCC to Wingate was “simple and direct.” Because of the number of credits he was able to transfer in with, he entered his first semester at Wingate as a junior.

“Starting at RichmondCC prepared me for my studies at Wingate by giving me two years of collegiate experience and studying skills,” he said.

Hudson’s career goal is to become a physical therapist. Upon completing his bachelor’s degree, he plans to enter Wingate’s Doctor of Physical Therapy program.
