The Adult High School (AHS) Diploma program is an option most ideal for individuals who have just a few credits needed to complete their graduation requirements and who can work independently in an online class. This fully online program provides the full scope of assignments for each class. Twenty-two (22) credits are required to earn the AHS Diploma. Required courses for RichmondCC's Adult High School Diploma program are:
- English (4 units)
- Science (3 units)
- Social Studies (4 units)
- Math (4 units)
- Health/PE (1 unit)
- Electives (6 units)
To qualify, students must:
- Provide an official sealed transcript from the last high school they attended.
- Attend and complete an assessment/orientation session.
- Score a qualifying level on TABE assessment.
- Are 16 or 17 years old and have submitted required minor forms.
AHS diploma graduates receive their Adult High School diploma from Richmond or Scotland County Board of Education in conjunction with Richmond Community College. Call (910) 410-1769 for more information.
