RichmondCC Invites You to Summer Parties on the Patio
May 20, 2026 - Richmond Community College will be hosting Party on the Patio this summer on June 10, July 8 and Aug. 12 at the Hamlet Campus from 4 to 6 p.m. The RichmondCC Cafe will be open and offering specials on a select menu item at each event. There will also be food trucks offering cool summer treats.
At Party on the Patio on June 10, RichmondCC will be hosting a volleyball tournament for 6-man teams. There is no cost to enter, and there will be awards for 1st, 2nd and 3rd place teams. At Party on the Patio on July 8, RichmondCC will be hosting a cornhole tournament. There is no cost to enter, and there will be awards for 1st, 2nd and 3rd place teams.
"Party on the Patio is open to the public and great fun for the whole family," said Director of Marketing & Communication Wylie Bell. "We will have games and activities for all ages and lots of giveaways. This is also a great time to take a campus tour, learn about financial aid and scholarships, student supports and resources, explore careers and sign up for classes. We hope everyone will join us for one if not all of these parties."
RichmondCC will also host Party on the Patio at the Scotland County Campus on Thursday, Aug. 13, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. There will be games, food trucks and giveaways, as well as access to student services and resources.
