Registration Underway for Summer Courses at RCC

Motivated students looking to get ahead on their college courses can enroll this summer at Richmond Community College.

Registration is already open for current RichmondCC students, who are encouraged to discuss their options with their advisors. Students in an industrial systems class at Richmond Community College test equipment for a class assignment. The College is accepting new students for summer term. Applications can be completed online at www.richmondcc.edu.

Students returning home for a break from four-year colleges and universities may also take advantage of the cost efficient classes at Richmond Community College by registering for general requirementcourses and earning credits that will transfer to any school in the North Carolina university system.

“Many students choose to benefit from taking summer courses at Richmond Community College because it allows them to save significantly on tuition costs as compared to what they’re paying at universities across the state, as well as allowing them the opportunity of learning the material in a smaller class with more personalized attention than they would receive from instructors at a larger school,” said RichmondCC Vice President of Instruction Kevin Parsons.

Rising high school juniors and seniors are also provided an exceptional opportunity to get a jumpstart on their college education, as tuition costs are waived for these students taking summer classes at Richmond Community College. High school students will be required to purchase their own textbooks for summer courses.
