Start Here, Go Anywhere!

At Richmond Community College, we stand behind the belief that you can start here and go anywhere. The articulation agreements we have signed with universities and colleges throughout North Carolina guarantees that the classes you take at RichmondCC in our transfer programs will be accepted by these four-year institutions. Depending on the academic program you pursue, the credits you earn at RichmondCC can get you ahead by nearly two years in a baccalaureate degree program. Also, four-year colleges and universities are willing to accept our graduates because unlike incoming college freshmen, our graduates are accustomed to the rigors and demands of college. Visit our Career and Transfer Center to help define your educational and career goals, so we can help put you on the right path to success.

College Begins in High School

We believe in starting college early! Through our dual enrollment Career and College Promise program, we offer an option for high school age students to begin earning college credit while still in high school — at no cost! These college classes are offered for free to juniors and seniors in public and private schools. Plus, students who successfully complete two dual enrollment courses while in high school and graduate with an unweighted GPA of 3.0 or higher position themselves for two years free tuition at RichmondCC through the RichmondCC Guarantee.
