"RichmondCC gave me the opportunity to earn a low-cost associate degree and allowed me to take prerequisites for my bachelor's degree," she said. "RichmondCC also provided me with a flexible college schedule and allowed me to stay local and spend time with my family."

Amanda is currently working towards her bachelor's degree in business administration from the University of North Carolina at Pembroke.

In her role as a human resources manager, Amanda enjoys being able to help people fulfill their potential by hiring the right people and helping them thrive in their jobs. She enjoys helping employees work through workplace problems and finding solutions.

Amanda is also an advocate for RichmondCC.

"RichmondCC has a good standing with the community, for providing supporting courses for local businesses and industries. The College is willing to customize a training program to fit the needs of a business," she added.
