Non-Discrimination Notice, Richmond Community College

As a recipient of federal funds, Richmond Community College is required to comply with Title IX of the Higher Education Amendments of 1972, 20 U.S.C. § 1681 et seq. (“Title IX”), which prohibits discrimination on the basis of sex in educational programs or activities. Richmond Community College prohibits discrimination against qualified individuals based on their status as protected veterans or individuals with disabilities, and prohibits discrimination against all individuals based on their age, race, color, genetic information, religion, sex, national origin, or any other protected class, including in the context of admission or employment. The College has zero-tolerance for discrimination to include discrimination in the form of sexual misconduct, sexual violence, and sexual harassment committed against students, employees, visitors to the campus, and other persons who use college facilities. Complaints can be directed to the College Title IX Coordinators.
