Students, Graduates and Staff Take Part in Vigil

Several Richmond Community College employees, students and graduates took part in the annual Domestic Violence Vigil held Monday by New Horizon’s Domestic Violence Shelter at the courthouse in Richmond County. RichmondCC student Sally Ingram read a poem at the vigil and RichmondCC staff member Marcella McDonald sang a song. Two graduates of the College’s Human Services program, Veronica Roberts and Monica Covington, are now employed with New Horizons. Students taking part in the vigil were from Human Services instructor Amanda Faulk’s Crisis Intervention class.
