Santa’s Circus making its way to the Cole Auditorium on Dec. 2
November 22, 2019 – Headlining the third show of the
The Dewitt Performing Arts Series is Santa’s Circus. This is your chance to see magic of Christmas come alive on Monday, December 2 at the Cole Auditorium located on the main campus of Richmond Community College.
This brand new specular Christmas-themed circus production with more than 30 performers including dancers, jugglers, tightrope walkers, contortionists, magicians, comedians, clowns and trapeze artists. Beautifully decorated to capture the essence of Christmas, "Santa's Circus" is the story of an orphaned girl who has stopped believing in Christmas. She takes an extraordinary adventure to the North Pole and learns the spirit of Christmas never disappears for those who believe. She encounters wonderful characters such as snowmen, penguins, angels, reindeer, toy soldiers, gingerbread men and, of course, Santa himself.
Come celebrate the wonder and joy of a traditional Christmas with lasting memories of fun, laughter and special family time. “This family friendly performance is sure to entertain all ages,” said Joey Bennett, Cole Auditorium Director. “The beautiful storyline will pull at the heart-strings of the young-at-heart while the variety and fast-moving nature of the circus-like performers is sure to keep younger audience members entertained. The show will be presented in two 45-minute acts with an intermission so that young children will not get restless.”
The show will begin at 7:30 p.m. on Monday. Dewitt Performing Art Series season ticket holders can use their tickets for entry, but single tickets are available for $30 to $50 each. Call (910) 410-1691 for ticket details or visit the Cole Auditorium box office located at 1042 W. Hamlet Ave., Hamlet.
