Free Seminar to Explain the Impact of Twitter and Blogging for Small Businesses

Aug 2

As of January 2017, there are 500 million tweets sent each day! To help local small businesses benefit from all this online conversation, the Small Business Center of Richmond Community College will present a free seminar, “Blogging and Twitter for Business Owners,” from 9 a.m. to noon Wednesday, Aug. 9, at the Cole Auditorium.Photo of Martin Brossman

The three-hour seminar kicks of the Cyber Wednesday series, with a free seminar being held the second Wednesday of each month. Participants who complete four unduplicated sessions in a calendar year (Jan. 1- Dec. 31, 2017) will receive a Business Online Training Certificate of completion.

Presenter Martin Brossman, a business coach and social media expert, will focus on how to show customers your business understand their needs, while answering their questions and building trust through blogging and Twitter.

“Participants will learn how to get effective results in Twitter, while knowing how to keep up and be involved in the right information on Twitter that will support their business goals,” Brossman said. “This is a valuable presentation for those who are just getting started with a business Twitter page or for those who have been using Twitter for several years. This seminar will provide useful, up-to-the minute information that will elevate any business Twitter presence to the next level of effectiveness.”

Register Online for this free seminar. Pre-registration is preferred, but walk-ins are welcome.

Brossman, teaches at Small Business Centers and Chamber of Commerce venues across North Carolina. More information about his upcoming classes can be found on his website: www.NCSmallBusinessTraining.com, which also provides public pages of free resources for small businesses.
