The BirthThrough Kindergarten Residency Licensure Program is designed for individuals who hold a bachelor’s degree and are employed, or have received a written offer of employment, in a North Carolina public school setting serving young children.

Semester Schedule
The Residency Certificate and its associated courses (EDU 246, EDU 255, EDU 260, EDU 266, EDU 267, and EDU 283) are available only to individuals who have already earned a bachelor’s degree and are currently employed as the official teacher of record, or have received a written offer of employment, in a North Carolina public school.
First Year - Fall Semester
