Cirque-tacular Show Postponed Due to Winter Weather

The Cole Auditorium announced today that Saturday's performance of Cirque-tacular: Shimmer has been postponed due to the winter weather forecasted for this weekend. The show featuring a troupe of acrobats, aerialists and circus specialty artists will be rescheduled at a later date yet to be determined. Tickets already purchased will be honored for the new date.
Chris Clark Memorial Scholarship Helping Students Achieve Their Career Dreams

In late 2016, the Clark family established the Chris Clark Memorial Scholarship at Richmond Community College. In memory of Chris, a volunteer firefighter and emergency medical services technician with Hamlet Fire and Rescue, the scholarship has benefited students enrolled in the Allied Health, Nursing, and Pre-Nursing or Medical Assisting curriculum for almost 10 years.

Mental Health Counselor Thankful for Her Start at RichmondCC

Paula Colden of Richmond County is a Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor with Trillium Health Resources, where she helps Emergency Departments determine best next steps for those who come into the ER suffering from mental health issues. This position is a long way from her factory job sewing pantyhose back in the 1990s.
