If you’re a student at Richmond Community College, we’re committed to providing you with the best educational resources to help you make the most of our studies and programs. One of those resources is our on-campus library in Hamlet, NC.

The J. Richard Conder Learning Resources Center (LRC) was a $1.5 million project funded by the 1985 General Assembly. It is named in honor of former Senator J. Richard Conder. The 20,000-square-foot building is filled with books, magazines, computers, study rooms, a distance learning classroom and a tutorial center. The second floor of the library offers beautiful views of the campus.

The LRC consists of three departments –– the library, Instructional Technologies and the Academic Success Center –– all dedicated to providing a diverse population with instructional assistance through quality resources and services that support the RCC’s mission and goals. The library is open to credit and non-credit students, faculty, staff and the general public. The LRC services are available on campus and through distance learning.
